International Tobacco firm looking to hire Corporate Development VP (Based in Switzerland) recruitment
Our client is an established and highly acquisitive Global corporate with it's headquarters based in Switzerland. Due to internal restructuring and a planned increase in acquisitions they are looking to recruit an experienced investment banker / corporate financier to help with ongoing strategic initiatives and MA activity for the group on a global level. Suitable candidates must come from a financial advisory MA team of a well-known investment bank or advisory boutique and will ideally have had exposure to European transactions in the Tobacco space.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in originating, structuring and executing deals so must be able to demonstrate a high level of initiative, assertiveness and leadership. You will be comfortable performing due diligence and valuations (including preparations), presenting at board level, liaising and negotiating with accountants and lawyers and ultimately overseeing the smooth running of international MA and financing.
The ideal candidate should have between 7 - 10 years advisory experience in the Consumer/FMCG sector, ideally with specific Tobacco coverage. Candidate must speak fluent English, additional European language skills will be a major advantage. The ideal candidate will possibly hold a MBA.

Candidates from Bulge Bracket Investment Banks are preferred, however our client will look at indivduals from MA Advisory Boutiques and Corporate Finance teams (ONLY) within the Big 4. Candidates with exisiting corporate development experience and tobacco transaction experience will be looked upon faourably.
