Our unit "Corporate Development" is part of the Bertelsmann executive board for corporate development and new businesses. Core responsibilities include advancing established businesses as well as the evaluation and development of new revenue potential. Furthermore we comprise the worldwide coordination of initiatives and projects across the Bertelsmann group.

Your challenges

As an intern at Corporate Development located either in Berlin or Gütersloh you will support our team with different projects including topics which are as diversified as the business segments within our group. You will find one of our experienced managers acting as your sparring partner. Your tasks will include research, analysis and valuation of strategic growth segments and markets as well as conceptual tasks.  Consequently the output of your work could include the presentation of a business opportunity, its valuation and finally a recommendation for Bertelsmann. 

Your profile

We are looking for creative and structured thinking students, who are highly motivated and committed. Moreover you should find yourself studying successfully at university for at least four semesters, focusing on business studies, media (management), economics or business sciences.

If you are also able to handle the general MS Office programs and available for at least three months, we are looking forward to receiving your application.
