Collateral and Liquidity Management Team is a integral part of CCL developing new process and concepts to build efficiency on collateral utilization and managing our intraday/end of day liquidity.
Optimization of Liquidity Management, Collateral Management and ad hoc initiatives as prescribed by Senior Management related to Cash, Collateral and Liquidity Management.
Main Duties:
Monitor and analyze daily reports on intraday credit usage, excess collateral and deficits
Assist the Team in projects when needed such as system build out, issues etc.
Analysis of intraday credit usage across a multitude of agent bank accounts and clearing houses
Build consistent Global approach for monitoring and controlling cash flows in order to alleviate intraday credit usage or an alternative means to secure cash to minimize costs
Analysis of collateral utilization across bank accounts and clearing houses to manage credit risk and firm’s liquidity
Assist in leading the development of new process/projects to improve liquidity
Assess the sources and uses of liquidity to ensure requirements are minimized, investment options are optimized and operational processes are efficient and have adequate controls.
Research new initiatives and present ideas for liquidity and collateral optimization
Qualification Education:
Degree or equivalent qualification, concentrating in Economics or Finance or equivalent experience;
MBA and/or CFA a plus
Skills Aptitude:
3 – 5 years experience in a financial institution
Strong knowledge of financial products
Self motivated and can work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
A clear communicator with an approachable yet professional manner.
Able to cope with fluctuation of volumes and thrive in a fast pace, high pressure environment
Knowledge of firm financing such as repos, triparty, bilateral agreements, etc.
A quick learner, ability to handle deadline pressure
Must be a Team player, able to take initiative
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
Able to learn quickly and absorb complex concepts
Able to analyze and present scenarios from both complex and high-level viewpoints
Able to develop productive business relationships with senior management across Firm divisions
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products, especially Excel
Strong detailed oriented, organized and analytical
Experience in cash, collateral and/or liquidity management
