My client is one of the world's largest and most recognised brands.
They are currently seeking a qualified accountant to join their Global inventory finance team, in the capacity as an inventory accountant.
As an inventory accountant, you will see all elements of the financial transactions , as well as general ledger function, and be mainly responsible for month end close.
This is a 9 month contract role.
The role:
- Managing the financial transaction processes
- Responsible for month end close and all year end auditing reporting requirements
- Reporting key financial data to US head offices.
- Reconciling general ledger and month end accounts
- Year end statutory audit work
- Compliance and process improvements
The candidate required:
- Qualified accountant- CPA /ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA
- Experience of at least 2-3 years in a financial reporting environment.
- 1-2 years PQE, in a finance function.
- Experience of month end close and general ledger reconciliations
- Ability to work on your own initiative and to add value to a team.
- Willingness to commit to a contract role
