Inventory Control Accountant out of Retail is needed immediately for a company that is growing tremendously. Inventory Analyst must have at least 3 + years working for a retail company. Responsibilities will include reconciling inventory, monthly inventory balances, physical inventories, preparing financial inventory reports, month end closing and posting journal entries, maintaining store shrinkage prevention, reviewing merchandise vendor invoices, and maintaining financial reporting SOX compliance. Candidate must have a degree in Accounting. This will go temporary to full time for the right candidate.
