Position Summary:  Pendleton Woolen Mills is a 100+ year old, vertically integrated manufacturer, wholesaler, and multi-channel retailer of quality Apparel and Home Products. The Inventory Administrator / Scheduler works in the fast growing Catalog Division, and is responsible for managing the set-up and administration of the product inventory data, as well as forecasting demand and assisting in scheduling inventory flow.  This position reports to the Catalog Inventory Manager.  This position is full-time and non-exempt.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

§         Responsible for the management of product and inventory data in the catalog order management system (Commercialware) and the inventory and forecast system (Direct Tech / Forecast 21).   

§         Gathers and organizes product/sku/offer information during the development phase of a catalog offer, and passes the final data file to Information Services (IS) for loading into backend host system, CommercialWare.   For small batches, manually enters the data directly into Commercialware.

§         Prior to offer go-live, tracks changes in catalog item data (e.g. prices, descriptions, and page numbers) and updates system data accordingly. 

§         Generates and provides offer / item reference files to members of merchandising and creative teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of information across departments.

§         Reviews and audits system information for accuracy.  Works with other departments (Merchandising, Warehouse, IS, Call Center) to resolve issues related to item/sku/offer information in system.

§         Assists Inventory Manager with product forecasting in Direct Tech Forecast 21 system, with focus on in-season forecast adjustments.

§         Performs a regular review of the item/sku “hot list” in Direct Tech to identity forecasted shortages and schedules in-season reorders accordingly.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

§         Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.

§         1-3 years relevant work experience.

§         Strong analytical and organizational skills.  Ability to multi-task in a fast paced deadline-driven environment.

§         Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

§         Proficient in Excel.

§         MS Office:  Word, Outlook.

§         Experience in catalog systems, especially Commercial Ware and Direct Tech Forecast 21 a plus.
