Inventory Analyst Job in Brampton L6T4K4, Ontario Canada
Purpose
• To provide leadership in supporting the Distribution Center (DC) organization with analytics related to inventory, performance, labour management standards and throughput metrics.
• To report DC organizational goals, KPI’s and activity based reports through thorough and fact based analysis and reporting.
• To have a superior grasp on the DC system tables, data and reporting tool functionality with the ability to develop a report and/or analysis and translate data trends.
Key Responsibilities
• Support all departments within the Retail and Online DC on departmental and KPI reporting needs
• Assessment and definition of reporting requirements for operational DC reports
• Analysis of DC report results and recommendations of appropriate resolution for issues identified
• Interfaces and builds relationships with: across roles at DC, Home Office in all areas of the business.
Key Performance Measures
• Delivery of results within agreed timeframes
• Proactive recommendations on additional metrics when identified
• Design and deliver new reporting solutions within agreed timelines
• Internal Customer satisfaction
Qualifications
• The person in this role should have 2 years or more experience in a business or reporting position preferably in a distribution center
• Exceptional skills in Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to utilize analytical skills to identify the root cause of issues
• Solid record of delivering results
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational and time management skills
• EWM and ERP experience is an asset
• Retail experience an asset
