Manitowocs Ovens Group, a member of the Manitowoc Foodservice family of companies, global leaders in commercial foodservice equipment, is seeking a dynamic Inventory Analyst. Manitowoc designs, manufactures, and markets a wide range of oven platforms to the commercial foodservice industry. Key responsibilities of this position include: monitor and maintain inventory count and location accuracy by reviewing QAD reports and completing physical counts; complete root cause analysis for identified discrepancies and negative inventory balances; and work with planners and buyers to support corrective actions. Reporting directly to the Manager of Inventory Control, this position is based in Fort Wayne, IN.
Essential Job Functions
- Monitor and maintain inventory and location accuracy by report analysis and physical counts.
- Analyze identified inventory inaccuracies and complete the root cause analysis to determine the corrective action required.
- Work with planners and buyers to communicate root cause issues for identified inaccuracies.
Job Requirements/Working Conditions
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience with manufacturing inventory/materials or production control is required.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and computers.
- Strong analytical, math, and/or accounting skills are preferred.
- Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills are preferred.
- Working conditions include a plant setting, with some exposure to an office environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and able to climb a ladder.
