Job Title:                  Inventory Clerk

Reports to:               Inventory Specialist

FLSA Status:           Non-Exempt

 

Job Summary:  The Inventory Control Coordinator, under general supervision, is responsible for control of physical inventory, inventory tracking, and the performance of daily audits.

 

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:

 

Conducts daily audits on the physical inventory

Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures dealing with physical inventory.

Researches and resolves discrepancies related to physical inventory.

 Audits all receiving paperwork for received quantity, and packing slip quantity for discrepancies on a daily basis.

Conducts random audits in shipping associated with invoiced, ready to be shipped products.

Completes weekly reporting and submits findings to Supervisor.

Educational Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

 

Skill Requirements:

Ability to take direction when necessary, but will mostly be self starter

Excellent Verbal and written communication skills

Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and manage the associated stress

Strong work ethic and ability to follow through on tasks and assignments

Excellent Time management skills with ability to prioritize various projects

Attention to detail, organization, and accuracy

Basic to Intermediate computer knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to work in a team environment

Must have knowledge of basic computer applications

Must be able to work all shifts and weekend work.
