Inventory Control Auditor Job in Salt Lake City 84104, Utah Us

Audit all chemical, packaging, and finished-product inventory movements and system activity.
Perform daily physical counts of chemicals, finished goods and packaging.
Reconcile physical inventory to system balances. Contact departments to make corrections as needed. Adjust system when no other option exists to maintain accurate system inventory levels.
Research and report inventory inaccuracies.
Monitor warehouse organization inventory movement activities and report problems to IC supervisor and appropriate department management.
Educate and communicate with other departments concerning inventory problems and continually develop improved processes to Accurately and efficiently enter data into the company’s computer system.
Perform various office duties including filing, answering phones, faxing, creating reports, etc.
Other projects and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) structures, material flow through a manufacturing organization, inventory management, logistics, and accounting systems.
Excellent process analysis, trouble shooting, and reconciliation skills.
High school equivalent algebraic math skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, self motivation, and work completion skills.
Must be a team player.
10 key by touch and data entry keyboarding and typing skills

Prefer the completion of at least two years of college with an experience in a manufacturing or business field or have equivalent experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or inventory management.
High School Graduate.
Current valid driver’s license and own vehicle (travel between warehouses is required).
Acceptable current MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
Demonstrated knowledge and handling of a 3000 – 6000# capacity propane and/or electric forklift.
For Packaging, demonstrated knowledge and handling of a narrow aisle lift.
Must be able to obtain a Current Sun Products Corporation forklift certification.
