Inventory Manager Job in Oxfordshire, Home Counties UK

My client a market leading Oxfordshire / Northamptonshire based FMCG business are currently recruiting for an Inventory Manager. Reporting into the Site General Manager this is a newly created role that has developed to to sustained growth.

Key responsibilities:
*Take full responsibility of the sites inventory
* Trace and investiage stock losses and derive trends
* Manage the inventory team of 8 people
*Recommend any adjustments necessary to optimise lead-time, customer service, shipping and inventory targets.
*Co-ordinate regular reviews and effective feedback to the team and other managers
*Establish, monitor and maintain inventory policies
*Use Inventory Management tools and analytical capabilities to understand effectiveness of inventory, poor performance and obsolete processes such that corrective action can be taken.
*Identify improvement and efficiency changes and implement as appropriate
*Analyse stock levels and put forward sound, justifiable recommendations to ensure stock levels are appropriate based on sales figures both actual and forecasted.

The suitable candidate will come from a FMCG / 3PL or other high SKU count demanding environment. They will have precious Inventory and stock management experience and want to join a growing but demanding business.
