Investigator – Group recruitment

Key Roles Responsibilities

1. Provide investigation capabilities. Assist the Regional investigative team in conducting significant investigations and provide assistance as required to Global investigations. Conduct investigations in line with the Group standards for investigations in the country / region including escalation, case management, data capture, evidence management, electronic evidence review, reporting, interviewing and attending before internal disciplinary panels as required.
2. Support Country Head of FCR in management and promotion of Speaking Up in country with assistance from Regional investigative team. Speaking Up cases received directly in country must be updated in Enterprise Investigation Management System ('EIM').
3. As required Investigate data leakage cases and with Group Information Security assist in promoting awareness of the importance of confidentiality of bank information.
4. Relationship Management with law enforcement. Attending court cases where required. Coordination of business to provide a response to local production orders, court orders, request for information from regulators or law enforcement agencies.
5. Monitor developments in financial crime and misconduct including internal trends.
6. Maintain relationships with FCR Operations vendors in the region so that external specialist support is available when required.
7. Provide investigation related information to appropriate Country / Regional Committees and attend as required.
8. As required, assist Country Head of FCR in management of Anti-Bribery activities in country.
9. As required assist in responding to a search warrant, subpoena or documentary production order relating to an employee being served on the Bank.

Qualifications Skills

Required
* Investigative experience or ability to demonstrate basic investigative capabilities.
* Good communication and ability to effectively communicate in English.
* Sound working knowledge of MS Office suite particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Good judgement. Excellent collaborative and team playing skills.
* An inquisitive approach to practices, procedures and specific transactions. Personal authority and integrity. Independence, creativity, resourcefulness and resilience.
* Must possess developed interpersonal skills, multi cultural awareness and sensitivity.

Desirable
* Educational background to degree level.
* Experience or knowledge in the financial services industry and FCR management.
* CFE or like accreditation
* Foreign Language skills
* Knowledge of banking systems.
* Understanding of the key features of relevant FCR laws and regulations that affect the Group.
