Investment Accountant
The position has arisen following recent team expansion. The Investment Accountant is positioned within the Asset Management team. The primary role of the Investment Accountant is to support the Operations Manager in the day to day delivery of investment accounting related services valuation reporting for all portfolios and to act as a key contributor in a small middle office team.
Key tasks:
- Liaise with the Operations Manager to ensure monthly reports produced are based on timely and accurate data
- Production of weekly/monthly valuations and reconciling to valuations produced by custodians
- Compiling of monthly data for presentation purposes as and when required
- Data entry validation on Advent APX portfolio management system
- Daily cash reconciliation.
Knowledge, Experience and skill requirements (Core Competencies):
Knowledge Experience requirement:
- Previous experience of administering Alternative Investments (hedge funds, private equity) as a fund administrator
- Broad based product knowledge, including Equities, Fixed Income, Private Equity, Currencies and Derivative products
- Experience of position and cash reconciliations
- Ability to administer FX hedging, futures position monitoring and cash flow projections.
