Investment Accountant
The Company
As a specialist insurance and reinsurance underwriting group, our client is a listed firm providing services to brokers, insurers, investors and employees. Covering a range of products across commercial risk, our client is a leader in providing underwriting and risk management expertise within the industry.
The Role
Reporting into the Group Reporting Manager, you as the Investment Accountant will be primarily responsible for dealing with investment related issues both for the UK entity and indirectly for overseas subsidiaries. Your key skills and attributes will include though not be limited to;
- Preparation of all investment accounting for the UK Lloyds Syndicate
- Ensuring all accounting reports are compliant with IFRS
- Assist with half year interim reporting and annual statutory preparation
- Liaise with group investment operations, treasury, group finance and UK syndicate team.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
You
You will be a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with proven experience in a similar role. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be responsible for liaising with various internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will have proven experience in working in a multi-currency company and ideally have experience in reporting for a Lloyds Syndicate.
