Investment Accountant – Temporary recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Valuations
- Assisting with forecasting and monitoring cash requirements for the investment funds, to ensure sufficient liquidity levels for investments and expenses whilst maximising fund performance to investors
- Supporting the monitoring of reporting to investors
- Initial review of quarterly reports prepared by the offshore Third Party Administrators to ensure complete and accurate data and the review and validation of capital calls and distributions to investors
- Other ad hoc work as required
Candidate requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or foreign equivalent) with first time passes (non-negotiable)
- 2:1 degree or higher
- A grade at Maths A level
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Work experience may be from one of the big 4 firms dealing with the Private Equity sector clients OR
- Have relevant post-qualified experience in the Private Equity / Asset management industry (after qualifying from a Big 4 firm)
- Project management skills would be desirable but not essential
- Strong written skills
Candidates must be prepared to carry out fairly repetitive work within their investments. The successful candidate will also need to be on no more than a 2 weeks' notice period.
