Investment Accounting Manager – Global Insurance Firm, (35k – 45k) recruitment
The Company
Our client is a leading international insurance company with head quarter in US and strong presence in Asia Pac. They are dominant in Life insurance in the market and have been fast growing over the years. Due to expansion, they are currently looking for an Investment Accounting Manager in their team in Hong Kong.
The Role
Reporting to Senior Manager of Finance, you will be responsible for the following:
- Assist in calculating the investment performance
- handling daily investment accounting,
- Assist in preparing month-end closing, including liaison with brokers for bond pricing
- Prepare investment trades settlement including general ledger entries;
- Maintain ledger accounts of cash and investment assets accurately and efficiently
- To liaise with fund managers on trades settlement
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, custodian accounts and ledger accounts of investment assets
Your Profile
You should be possess at least 3 - 5 years of relevant investment accounting reporting experience in Insurance sector. You should possess hands on knowledge on Investment Accounting and Trade settlement for life / General insurance business and are able to work with different internal clients.
