In the Asia Pacific region, J.P. Morgan Asset Management has seven offices, including a joint venture in China, all delivering a wide range of investment products and services to retail and institutional clients. The sales and marketing personnel in these locations rely on market, investment and product information from the firm's product desks around the globe and from our investment writers. In Hong Kong - the regional head office - the investment services team produces a great deal of information specific to the region and liaises closely with strategists and product specialists in Europe and the US for their input.
Main responsibilities include:
- Work closely a team of experienced investment advisers to achieve sales and business targets which include client acquisition and AUM building by promoting company's investment products to a Greater China coverage - Hong Kong and Taiwan market but primarily Mainland China high net worth clients
- Explore new business opportunities by pro-active outbound activities, including frequent travelling outside of Hong Kong for client meetings and events
- Deliver investment advisory services to both existing and prospective clients by face-to-face client meetings and outbound / inbound sales calls
- Participate and support sales activities through external promotion, exhibition, client seminars and business related events and projects
- Establish close working relationship with other team members to make best use of available resources
Skills
- Degree holder in business related disciplines, preferably in Finance and Economics
- Extensive sales experience in financial servicing sector
- Strong knowledge and interest on mutual funds
- Has a flexible approach in working, willing to walk an extra mile and is opened to working on Saturday and Sundays
- Highly customer oriented, a self-starter who is able to work independently and value team work
- Strong interpersonal, multi-tasking and communication skills
- Excellent MS office skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Good command of written English and Chinese, native fluency in Mandarin is preferrable
