Investment Analyst
Profile:
- 1-3 years' experience in European mid and small cap listed equity analysis (accounting/investment banking/corporate finance/value investing background)
- Strong interest in investor activism/active ownership approach based on investment in a concentrated portfolio of substantial minority positions
- Strong interest and some experience in stock-picking and fundamental analysis
- Knowledge of basic accounting methods, valuation methods and financial modeling
- High accuracy and detail-orientated
- Sound knowledge of Excel essential. Some knowledge of Bloomberg would be a bonus
- Working towards (or interested in working towards) the CFA would be a plus
- Team player, hardworking, entrepreneurial, self-motivated, flexible and available to travel
- Must be eligible to work in the European Union
- Availability to work in Monaco would be a plus
Responsibilities include:
- Researching key industry and market trends
- Assisting with screening for new investments
- Supporting the analysis and evaluation of new investments
- Financial modeling (earnings forecasting and valuation)
- Supporting ongoing reporting on existing investments, and their competitors and peers
- Regularly communicating with sell-side investment banks and attending analyst/investor conferences
- Supporting the company’s trading activities
Languages:
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of another language would be a bonus: French, German, Dutch and/or Italian
