The role of the Investment Analyst, Asset Allocation is to manage the implementation of investment strategies and undertake daily oversight, while providing assistance to stakeholders on all matters related to investment implementation.
The key responsibilities include;
- Cashflow and liquidity management required for NAB Wealth's investment assets ('Funds')
- Monitoring of Funds asset exposure to ensure adherence with investment strategy and rebalance as necessary
- Implementing investment strategy changes, requiring planning, assessment of implementation alternatives and modelling of investment decisions
- Driving project based assignments
- Delivering on investment product, system and process initiatives
To be successful in this role you will have strong tertiary qualifications in a relevant academic field and at least 5 years professional experience in a numerical discipline, plus the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrate proven results and competency in a similar role
- Excellent Excel Skills
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to look objectively and bring disciplined analysis to data and situations to ensure that all outcomes are thoroughly assessed
- Analyse and interpret complex situations by looking at multiple causes and effects
- Ability to work under pressure on a daily basis and capable in delivering to a high standard consistently
- Good (written and verbal) communication
- Ability to manage self and stakeholders with a solid understanding of investment business
- Cash or liquidity management experience is desirable
- Post graduate qualifications in investment or finance preferred
