As a well established international fund manager, their process is a combination of in depth qualitative and quantitative research. With a strong value bias, they are high conviction investors, and happy to be contrarian.
Working within the Sydney team, you will contribute stock ideas to the Australian, Regional and Global portfolios, taking into account investment fundamentals and capital markets risk/ return characteristics. To do this, you will be expected to have outstanding commercial acumen combined with extensive financial modelling skills. You will also require strong interpersonal skills that will allow you to cultivate a wide network of broking, corporate and industry relationships, as well as with your global peer network.
It is anticipated that you will have a minimum of 5 years investing experience, or, if less experience, be supplemented by a minimum of 3-5 years within management consulting.
