With a mandate for growth in their unlisted infrastructure and energy asset portfolio, this Melbourne-based fund manager seeks to appoint an Investment Analyst to their Infrastructure Investments team.
Reporting to the Investment Managers, Investment Analysts are responsible for providing analytical support with respect to the management of existing portfolio assets and the evaluation of new asset acquisitions.
Although day to day responsibilities will vary, it is expected that the Investment Analyst will be focussed on the development and review of financial models (transactional operational), undertaking of due-diligence (financial, operational, commercial), the development of detailed sector and company research and the management of a range of internal and external stakeholders with regard to an asset’s operational performance, gearing levels and value. As new assets are added to the portfolio Associates will have a genuine opportunity for promotion to Manager.
Applicants will possess a tertiary degree in Commerce, Engineering or Science coupled with a post-graduate qualification in finance. With prior work experience in large-scale infrastructure or energy (or related) assets / companies, your risk profile, career goals and personal attributes will be in-line with an organisation built to serve the long-term interests of its investors.
