Investment Analyst recruitment
The Challenge:
Irish owned asset manager with a highly successful value add investment strategy which has seen assets under management increase by 40% since 2007 to currently €6 billion is seeking an investment analyst to join a team of highly qualified and experienced investment professionals who manage both short and long term credit investment funds. The Global investor base of over 150 institutional investors includes blue chip insurance companies, asset managers, pension funds and private banks.
Role will involve the following but not be limited to:
• Carrying out a detailed analysis of the financial and commercial risks of proposed investment companies.
• Preparing and presenting a credit report / investment recommendations to the credit committee.
• Monitoring monthly management accounts, quarterly earnings and all financial information relating to companies in your portfolio.
• Keeping up to date with industry developments, sector reports and market related publications on the particular sectors linked to your portfolio.
• As role progresses responsibilities will include managing relationships with financial institutions and private equity houses.
The Candidate:
The Candidate must have the following in order to be considered for this role:
• ACA - Chartered Accountancy Qualification from a Big 4 firm.
• Industry audit experience (candidate with FS audit experience will not be considered)
• First rate academic record required, candidates must have:
- Passed all ACA's at first attempt.
- Minimum 2.1 Honours in undergraduate degree.
- Achieved Honours in Higher Level Maths in Leaving Cert / A Levels.
