Investment Analyst recruitment

Retirement Benefits Fund (RBF) manages superannuation for Tasmanian public sector employees. Based in Hobart, RBF provides wealth creation services to over 77,500 members and manages over A$3.8 billion in investments.

RBF is looking for an experienced Investment Analyst to fill this newly created position. The Analyst will support investment decision making by undertaking research and analysis relating to investment strategies, asset classes, and external Investment Managers.

The Analyst will work cooperatively with RBF’s external asset consultant and provide further analysis for the Investment Committee. In addition, the Analyst will maintain and improve investment policies and procedures as well as monitor and manage the performance and compliance of RBF’s external managers and custodian.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience within investments, econometrics or a related field. Strong research, analysis, spreadsheet and communication skills are essential for this role.
