Investment Analyst recruitment
This Private Equity Fund of Funds investor has a tremendous track record and is now seeking an additional Investment Analyst, to assist in carrying out detailed analysis and research and contribute to the overall investment process.
Responsibilities/Job -
Working as part of a small, highly qualified team of 8 people, you will focus on:
• assisting in the evaluation of new investment opportunities;
• working across regions and sectors, which may include economic, political, or legislative analysis;
• maintaining up-to-date information on the managers and investments in the portfolios; and
• assisting in regular reporting on market conditions and the general investment environment.
Candidate Profile -
Candidates must be highly numerate graduates who display the following characteristics:
• strong academic achievement in numerate subjects;
• graduated in 2009/2010 with a 2.1 or 1st from a respected university;
• currently working in a financial institution, involved in analysing investment data;
• evidence of research capabilities and advanced report writing and IT skills, including Excel modelling; and
• a general understanding of global economics and financial markets.
This role involves considerable exposure to senior investment professionals, both internally and externally, so confidence and the ability to communicate well are essential.
