Investment Analyst Structured Credit recruitment
The department
Structured Credit invests worldwide in tailor-made private risk sharing transactions with banks. These investments are structured as first loss tranches of a well diversified reference portfolio and often provide capital relief to the bank. We invest in different types of credit risk and have been structuring new transactions every year since inception in 2006. The mandate will continue to grow to over €3 billion.
The role
The Investment Analyst will fulfill a newly created role in the team. A key responsibility will be to take ownership for the continuing development of quantitative models. The models serve different purposes: valuation, pricing and scenario analysis. Monitoring a selection of existing investments will be another responsibility. In addition, you will be supporting the team in a number of ways, varying from reporting tasks to participating in due diligence.
What are we looking for
Someone who is ready for the next step in his or her career and looking to work in a relatively small team of senior investment professionals within a larger asset management organization.
Required profile:
- master degree (mathematics/econometrics)
- minimally 3 years of relevant experience (credit risk modeling, structuring, model validation)
- proven track record in building models of similar complexity
- well developed analytical skills
- ambitious and disciplined work ethic, professional attitude
- successful working independently as well as in a team
- strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to clearly articulate sophisticated concepts
