Investment Analyst, unlisted infrastructure

My client is an established global fund manager with a diverse product offering and a long track record of outperformance. Amongst several investment offerings (both within infrastructure and other asset classes) they require an Investment Analyst to concentrate on their infrastructure sector analysing and executing transactions and portfolio management. This fund has an inclusive and positive culture, meaning broad exposure.

Supported by mentors at Senior Executive levels you will be ultimately reporting to the Head of Alternatives. The scope of your role will include: Assessing infrastructure assets across most global regions with the view of making an investment; due diligence and if a compelling opportunity exists executing investments (this includes global travel); You will be assisting the wider team regularly which will include executing transactions and assisting oversight for their current portfolio of assets.

You will have no more than 3 years experience all up from an investment bank (MA team, any sector considered), principal investing, PPP advisory or modelling organisation/team. You will have significant depth in your DCF modelling experience and be confident to be delivering these to board level. You will have a minimum of a distinction average for your university degree. In the first instance we will be limiting our search to candidates in the Sydney or Melbourne markets.
