Investment Associate, Investment/ Private Equity Fund
Our client is a top performing investment fund, based in London and the US. They are now looking to add an investment associate to their team, who will work in their financing and capital markets group.
At any one time, the fund has enormous amounts of money invested in various financial instruments on the markets, across a broad range of debt and other subinvestment grade assets. A significant portion of these assets are invested in different currencies, and they need an investment associate to work on currency hedging strategies and also on treasury decisions for the funds..
Candidates can come from one of the following backgrounds:
- chartered accountants from the major big four firms, where you will have banking and financial markets experience. Ideally, this will be combined with treasury, FX work, audit/ special projects
- candidates working the analyst or associate level in financial or product control in the treasury or FX teams, keen to make a move into an investments role. If you have this background, the ACA qualification would be great but we would also consider a very good candidate from the graduate scheme with relevant experience.
