Investment Associate / Manager, Small – Mid Cap Private Equity Fund – New role 12th Jan 2012 recruitment
Our client is a really successful small to mid cap private equity fund based in London. They have an established team of investment professionals from other private equity firms, chartered accountancy, strategy consulting and blue chip investment banks and make investments of c £20 - £75m in successful and growing businesses.
They are now looking to add an investment associate or manager to their team, who will focus on the execution of investments for the fund and the portfolio management of these investments through to exit. You will as part of a small deal team and can expect to have full involvement in all aspects of the deal making and investment process.
Candidate will have a background as follows:
- investment associates with other private equity firms
- investment bankers from firms such as Rothschild or Lazard
- strategy consultants from firms such as McKinsey, Bain, LEK
- corporate development or strategy professionals, who will probably have been trained in one of the above
- candidates must have excellent UK deal experience or client exposure
There is some flexibility around the level of candidate and so it is probably suitable for those with between 3 - 8 years experience.
