Investment Associate, Technology Venture Capital Fund recruitment
Our client is a major venture capital fund, who are now looking to add an Investment Associate to their team. The role will focus on the technology industry.
The position will involve the origination, execution and portfolio management of early stage investments in technology companies. You will work closely with tech business, assisting management teams with their strategies and commercial issues. The position will also involve considerable networking and origination to ensure that the fund is well placed when a business starts to need finance for investment.
They are looking to add a professional who will have a background as follows:
- Good academic qualifications, highly numerate
- Consulting, investment banking or accounting experience preferred
- Self-reliant, self-starter, capable of working under own supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skill
- Intellectually curious, keen reader/consumer of information
- Good organisational skills habits, able to effectively prioritis
- Personal interest in technology, media a strong benefit, ideally follows technology/VC press blog
- Understanding of role of venture capital VC investment criteria/process a benefit
