Investment Banking Analyst at West Coast M&A firm recruitment

We are a respected and very focused team and we are experiencing tremendous growth in our target sectors; we are currently looking to add new members to our firm at the analyst level.
We are seeking candidates with initiative and integrity, strong communication skills, commitment, and the ability to work as part of a team. Prior experience in investment banking is a plus but not a requirement for this position.
The analyst will perform tasks to support associates and senior team members. Typical assignments will include:
• Developing marketing materials and pitches
• Industry and company research
• Presentation preparation for client meetings
• Preparation of transaction materials
• Financial modeling including extensive valuation analysis
• Due diligence
The analyst must be highly detail-oriented and willing to work hard and long hours at times. We will look for candidates with excellent verbal and written skills. The candidate must be comfortable conversing with clients and some travel will be required. Any candidate must be enthusiastic about working at a small company in a more entrepreneurial role. Ideal candidates are self-starters and creative thinkers.
Our compensation structure is competitive and includes a base salary and benefits with significant upside opportunity based on successful closing of transactions.
