Investment Banking – ASIA PAC Group Financial Reporting (Snr AVP) recruitment
A very strong senior level AVP role within top tier investment banking, offering high visibility across various stakeholders and senior management. Take control of a team of 3 and develop key technical reporting ability and insights into the balance sheet and PnL of the bank.
It is a broad role as it also includes strong exposure to new product approvals and launches and offers unique exposure in this area.
Day-to-day duties:
• Responsibility for IFRS reporting for Asia Pacific countries.
• Complete month end process to ensure financials are IFRS compliant, complete and accurate.
• Investigate, understand and explain to country controllers and management significant movements in the balance sheet PnL, in terms of changes in the business as well as movements in the market in general.
• Advise on reporting requirements for new products impacting relevant companies.
• Managing adhoc queries from Head Office.
• Involvement in Finance projects initiatives around reporting changes and controls, process reviews and system enhancements.
