Investment Banking Associate 1/2 – Metals & Associate (Major Global Bank) recruitment
Having had a very successful 2011, and with a strong pipeline entering 2012, there is a very clear mandate for an experienced Metals Mining banker to join this team and be heavily engaged in live situations from day one. You will be involved in a wide range of transactions including buy- and sell-side MA as well as equity- and debt-financings.
You will ideally be bulge-bracket trained and any additional skills and experience including MBA (or equivalent) or industry expertise is very welcomed. If you possess a geology or engineering background and are looking to leverage this experience and knowledge on top of having gained investment banking experience, this too is of interest.
Suitable candidates will not need additional language skills although it would help your application given that the firm is extremely active on an international level. You will need to be a strong communicator and must be able to work independently and autonomously with limited supervision. Deal teams will typically be structured with 3-4 people between MD and Analyst level and with imminent promotions, this creates space for an Associate – Class of 2010 or 2011, ideally.
