Investment Banking FX Project Manager/Business Analyst
Job Description
A hybrid business analyst, testing and project management role within the global middle office process change team supporting the FX business. The role will focus on projects within the FX space, specifically on system enhancement, testing and process change driven by strategic business initiatives and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with middle office line and change management and partner areas to deliver strategic changes to the business. Key focus on testing for various strategic programmes.
- Primary area of focus within trade control, with splill over into operations and pl.
- Testing will focus on trade capture and lifecycle events for FX and FX options across multiple systems, regions and entities.
- Work with the business and system subject matter experts to define and document standardized and scalable solutions to issues affecting the global FX business.
Requirements
- 2- 6 years experience
- FX experience in MO, business analyst, project management or operations areas with an understanding of products and work flows.
- High sense of urgency with ability to drive results.
- Ability to drive change with strong collaboration and relationship management skills.
- Capable of working across business groups and regions and in a team environment.
- Ability to bridge communication amongst and between technologists and the business.
- Strong Excel skills focusing on the ability to process large sets of data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
- Ability to apply a logical approach to problem solving
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable turning ambiguity into a defined problem.
- Experience of business analysis and project management within a top tier investment bank.
