INVESTMENT BUSINESS SUPPORT ANALYST recruitment
The successful candidate will work in the Business Systems Support team to provide effective support services for business applications to all Company staff.
Core Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility of support calls and small projects allocated, investigate issue and when required develop a solution, manage testing and implement within required timescales.
- Follow all IT methodologies when developing and implementing these solutions.
- Have a good understanding of Company applications, both third party and in-house developed, updating skills matrix regularly to reflect changes.
- Provide administrator functions on Company applications (Capstone, Agresso, Accelerator, Intranet, SharePoint).
- To share knowledge across the team by updating support processes and documentation on known issues or system updates.
- Understand investment management process and how business teams use supported applications so that support offered is knowledgeable and efficient.
- Participate in team rota so that business teams have appropriate cover from 07:00 to 18:00.
- Prioritise workload efficiently and ensure timely escalation of any issues.
- Keep in regular contact with customers to ensure they are aware of current position.
- To ensure time is recorded on timesheet database and that ServiceDesk is regularly updated with status of calls and accurate close notes are recorded.
- Identify activities to improve performance or availability of systems
- Ensure obligations and responsibilities in respect of applicable regulations, in particular FSA and SEC regulations are carried out (personally and by direct reports), specifically.
- If an approved person, all aspects of being an approved or regulated function are adhered to.
- Risk management and monitoring of business risk.
- Fully aware of all up-to-date company policies and procedures.
- Manage and record all aspects of personal performance within role.
- Completion of all compliance and company e-learning modules as requested, including anti-money laundering and anti bribery act.
- Comply with all policies at all times, be aware of all requirements and report any suspicions on clients or person acting on their behalf regarding non compliance with any policies to the CCO (Chief compliance officer) and line manager.

Core Requirements:
- 3 years relevant technical experience.
- IOC/IMC qualified.
- Ability to improve both technical and business skills.
- Competent in using in Microsoft SQL Server architecture.
- Some exposure to .net, C#, ASP, Reporting Services.
- Analytical and logical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to take responsibility for the execution of all tasks assigned.
