Investment Communication Specialist
who reports directly to the Head of Investment Communication – Italy, a function responsible for delivering the global firm investment views, performance and investments commentaries and products positioning for the products managed by the Italian investment team.
The main responsibilities of the candidate will be to deliver value added communication for our fund of funds range (fund commentaries, presentations for IFA’s network and for the Headquarter, ad hoc communication) becoming a point of contact for the client. In his/her role, the Inv. Comm. Specialist will touch concretely a client centric approach and will be fully accountable for all the marketing activities of this product range. The role is best suited to someone with strong communication skills, a strong knowledge of financial markets dynamics, interest in mutual funds universe (understand different fund characteristics and peculiarities) and strong technical skills in terms of portfolio analysis
Key responsibilities:
• Pre and post sales investment communication materials (portfolio analysis, products positioning, sales ideas, focus pieces…)
• Monthly fund commentaries/reports
• Presentation with performance review, attribution, comments
• Participation in client meeting in preparation of important events
• Client and investment team point of contact
Skills and Qualifications:
• At least 5 years experience in investment marketing / investor relations or product/business development
• Highly analytical with outstanding written communication skills. A solid understanding of investment products is essential
• Confident person capable of engaging with the internal investment team and the external client and to work as part of a team
• Excellent Italian and English written presentation skills
• Technical and quantitative - must be able to understand and articulate fund management strategies clearly and with confidence and to elaborate performance and attribution data and portfolio analysis
• Able to multi task in a busy and varied environment
• Advanced Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Bloomberg and/or Factset user
• Attention to detail
• Strong result oriented (Ability to work with tight deadlines and significant workloads)
