Investment Control Associate
Duties will be to:
- Process trade authorization requests from investment professionals.
- Ensure that all authorisations are in compliance with all prospectus, regulatory, and internal investment guidelines.
- Perform periodic monitoring to ensure that funds are in compliance with all applicable regulatory rules and internal guidelines.
- Actively participate in investment group meetings to record changes in investment conviction and to communicate changes to appropriate investment professionals.
- Identify possible tax impacts associated with proposed authorizations by estimating capital gains, evaluating qualified dividends, and identifying wash sales.
- Work closely with other IC associates across the globe (Los Angeles, Hong Kong and San Francisco), and with other departments (including Fund Accounting, Settlements, Legal, Statistics, etc.).
- Monitor fund cash flows and allocate cash to investment professionals as necessary.
This role requires a degree at 2;1 or above in a related subject, at least 3 years experience in a similar position, asset management experience coupled with strong computer skills especially excel.
Candidates must have excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail and good organisational and time management skills
