Investment Counsellor – Investment Products & Advisory Department recruitment

Responsibilities:

To provide updated market news to marketing staff
To search and provide useful information and research materials of investment products as requested by marketing staff
To help preparing sales kit for marketing staff
To provide prices list of investment products on a daily basis
To prepare the market views and commentary on a regular basis (i.e. daily/ weekly/ monthly/ basis) for marketing staff
To manage and execute any investment and securities orders for clients (received via marketing staff)
To seek the best price quotation of any investment products from external brokers or internal dealing desks
To maintain and safe keep the dealing tickets and records for all clients’ orders
To calculate the yield and settlement amount of investment and structured products
To provide clients’ securities order to Operations for processing the settlement
To liaise with the Operations Team in the daily reconciliation of dealing tickets and order books
Occasional night shift duty might be required to back up team member

Requirements:

University graduate, preferably major in Economic, Finance or related disciplines
Has relevant professional qualification (e.g. passed HKSI Paper 1, 7 8) will be an advantage
Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ banking experience is preferable
Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations will be advantageous
Good presentation and interpersonal skills with experience of cross department projects
Good spoken and written English, Chinese and fluent Mandarin is an advantage
Willing to work under pressure
Self-motivated, positive, presentable and responsible
