Investment Credit Analyst, Global Asset Manager – Banks and Financial Institutions recruitment
Our client is a top gobal investment firm. They run a diverse range of investment strategies, and one of their most successful funds has been Credit Opportunities.
They are now looking to add a Credit Analyst to their team, focused on bonds, debt and loans issued by banks, insurers, asset managers and other financial services firms.
Key attributes for the role include the ability to perform detailed credit analysis and provide relative value investment recommendations. The role requires a proactive and organised approach with an excellent eye for detail. A client friendly, team player approach is essential. You will make buy and sell side recommendations to the portfolio manager and have an active role in the management and development of the fund.
Candidates will have a backgound as follows:
- a real interest in credit investing within an investment management firm
- experience of the analysis of banks and financial institutions with a proven track record of balance sheet analysis
- candidates may be working as credit analysts, equity analysts on the buy or the sell side, provided they have deep understanding of bank analysis. We would also consider candidates from firms such as McKinsey, Bain, LEK or similar, providing they have the appropriate financials training.
- there is some flexibility around the level and we are keen on meeting candidates from the Associate to VP/ Engagement Manager/ Director level
