Investment Credit Analyst
Investment Credit Analyst focused on credit research and analysis of bond, property, infrastructure and structured investments is required for leading asset manager advisory boutique in London - City.
The role
- To assist the Asset and Liability management team in credit research and analysis, primarily with regard analysing existing and potential instrument on the Internal portfolios;
- Assisting with the reporting of overall credit metrics
- Ensuring all work reflects the company`s objective of the fair treatment of customers which includes incorporating the FSA`s TCF outcomes in day to day thinking and behaviour.
- Analyse report on existing credit holdings
- Work with senior portfolio managers to review and analyse potential investments (both fund and direct) across various asset classes including bonds and property, infrastructure and other potential structured deals
- Participate in the research process for new funds, including looking into new investment opportunities as well as meeting new managers
- Meet with existing managers to monitor their portfolio and research investment themes
- Work with senior portfolio managers to review and analyse various alternative investments
- To report on the performance and strategies used by managers to deliver their performance
- Analyse the monthly performance of the entire portfolio in conjunction with the Finance team

The candidate will have:
- Degree
- Some previous financial market experience
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- CFA or working towards CFA-MBA
- Good Fixed Income credit knowledge in the UK Europe
