One of my Asset Management clients is currently going through a large period of change across their Data Services and requires a new Investment Data Change Lead to support the Head of Investment Data. The role has been created to increase capacity for driving change across various areas of the Investment Data Services team including business processes, data sets, operational data stores and data warehouses. The key aspect of this role is the ability to work with, influence and drive change in operational business and data technology teams to meet the needs of the investment group.

Part of your role will be to define the vision of the Investment data landscape, drive change in process and data based on investment group needs, as well as having the energy and commitment to create an environment that fosters change. The key to being successful in this role is to have experience across 3 area’s – Project Management, Data Management and Change Management. You must be able to influence key stakeholders and get them on board to really drive change through the Investment Data and wider teams.

Key responsibilities:
• Strong Degree and educational background
• Good understanding of business process modelling concepts and how these relate to investment data models and data flows
• Demonstrated understanding / practitioner of data architecture concepts with pragmatic experiences of delivering change in asset/investment management
• Experience of driving change in operational data stores/warehouses relating to investment group data sets
• Experience in direct interaction with business users in defining, analysing and agreeing requirements and subsequent delivery/expectations management
• A subject matter expert with respect to business process and data architecture in investment management
• Motivated to contribute proactively to managing change
• Good communication skills, ability to negotiate and influence
• Demonstrable business analysis skills, strong analytical and numerical skills
• Good technical skills around data interrogation and analysis, typically SQL and excel
• Experience of working on global projects with a substantial data components
