Investment Director / Senior Private Equity Manager recruitment
My client is a leading international business with a strong PE arm based in Hong Kong. We are seeking a highly experienced Investment Director with excellent background in Asia to come in just below the MD and help manage both the team and the deals.
The client invests across sectors and as they have a highly entrepreneurial business model, also acting as a Venture Capital business providing links to local distributors, suppliers and potential business partners to the seed companies they invest in.
The ideal candidate has at least 7-10 years prior work experience in the region and can work in both Mandarin and English with ease. Ideally you are a native mandarin speaker but also connect well with an Anglo-Saxon approach, and can work easily with both styles of business.
We are looking for someone who is highly entrepreneurial, forward-thinking and open-minded. As you will work on a wide variety of investments you need the experience of the region, coupled with strong contacts, excellent negotiation skills and strong regional understanding to make a success of the role.
As well as suiting a current Investment Director, the role would also suit a very experienced management consultant or investor who has been advising on Private Equity / Venture Capital deals in the region.
The capital is already secured for the business, it will now be your job to make the investments grow quickly and under a reasonable risk return ratio.
