Investment Directors / Analysts – Africa Private Equity Fund recruitment
A leading European financial institution and a group of experienced bankers and investors are setting up a global African investment platform (“the Fund”). The Fund team is based in Paris.
The Fund will be a diversified private long-term financial investor, investing both in debt and equity, altogether with strong environmental, governance and social criteria and high development objectives. The Fund will be diversified. The geographical focus will be on Africa and the Mediterranean ring. It has a targeted equity base of €200-€400m, which will be complemented by debt facilities to fund the lending activity.
The first closing will reach at least €150m and is due for October 2012. Team size upon final closing should be about 15 professionals. Some of them have already been identified, but the Fund is looking for experienced candidates to complement the team.
We are now looking for Investment Directors and Analysts, Private Equity. Candidates shall have a past experience in structuring Private Equity (minority stake, growth capital) transactions in funds or other PE oriented structures, with strong valuation skills.
We are looking for experienced and talented people ideally with African or Mediterranean exposure. French proficiency (at least spoken) is required. We are looking for team-minded, hard worker, positive and entrepreneurial people, ready to support a significant load of international travels and with a real commitment to sustainable finance and African development.
