We are entrusted with approximately $13 billion in assets and have 80 team members. Fundamental research and risk management are the backbone of our investment process in our quest to deliver strong, risk tempered performance to our investors.                                                              We are continually seeking to enhance our clients’ experience with us as well as make an impact with prospective clients; therefore, we are seeking a professional investment writer that aspires to help us produce creative and effective messaging in our written communications.

 Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced, creative and proven investment writer that would be responsible for delivering written communication materials for our family of mutual funds and institutional investment strategies; client communications; investment newsletters; website content; press releases; assistance with RFP’s; and, ideally, the ability to create white papers inspired from our research and timely industry topics.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of and responsible for writing creative, impactful mutual fund promotional materials for use with financial advisors and investors; shareholder letters; edit prospectuses and annual reports and complete such within FINRA and internal compliance guidelines. 

• Produce content for each of our institutional investment strategies including positioning of its value proposition; monthly/quarterly/annual portfolio commentary; producing creative monthly newsletters encompassing current market and economic events; providing perspectives from the investment teams.

• Remain engaged in economic and market events, gather and interpret data and relate it to the investment team’s views to respond to client requests for portfolio updates.

• Create and refine the content and messaging on our corporate and mutual fund websites.

• Assist our client service team members in refining RFP responses with brevity but impact.

• Perform research to identify new content development and modes of media that would support our new business initiatives including webcasts; video presentation and social media.

• Review and edit materials for colleagues seeking feedback.

• Draft press releases as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Demonstrated experience as outlined in the above job description.

• Strong knowledge of and aptitude for the financial markets, economy, investment concepts, and the asset management industry. 

• Ability to communicate investment philosophy, process and concepts in a clear and concise manner.

• Ability to interview and interpret investment team members in writing.

• Ability to interpret performance and portfolio characteristics to support content ideas.

• Ability to review investment news, topics, current financial market conditions and conduct research to extract ideas for newsletters and whitepapers.  

• Ability to interact with other members across the firm to solicit input, compromise, and produce quality work within deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
