Investment Management – Vice President, Global Funds (Singapore) recruitment

The Global Funds businesses in each location are responsible for intermediary relationships across various channels through which J.P. Morgan Asset Management's extensive range of international equity, fixed income, balanced and alternative investment products are distributed. There are significant opportunities for the Singapore Funds business to grow J.P. Morgan Asset Management's Singapore presence; in particular through the private bank channel.
We seek a high caliber candidate to perform the following role:
Vice President, Global Funds (Singapore)
Key Responsibilities Duties:
- Grow existing business, market-share and relationships across key global private bank distributors by actively engaging key decision makers (across advisory and discretionary) and advisors
- Build J.P. Morgan Asset Management's private bank distribution platform in South East Asia (with an emphasis on Singapore) through the sales/marketing of existing funds, adding new funds onto distributor platforms and actively seeking new distributors by converting potential leads into new relationships
- Expand the overall Singapore Funds business through achieving team and individual sales targets, increasing market share, building client assets-under-management and achieving team business objectives
- Liaise with J.P. Morgan Asset Management's overseas offices and other global private bank account managers on a regular basis
Skills
- University graduate with minimum 10 years of financial product sales-related experience; with some prior industry experience in an investment management firm covering the private bank channel in Singapore.
- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of financial markets and investment products including alternative investments
- Confident with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Independent, self motivated with strong sense of urgency
- Quick learner with good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Fluency in English; other languages a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bloomberg; Morningstar a plus
- Professional qualifications such as CFA charter holder and/or CAIA designation a plus
