Job Summary

Delivering Investment Services to both private and Institutional clients of the Investment Solutions Division.

Responsibilities

To manage clients’ portfolios in accordance with the company's procedures Investment Process. This person would be the lead Investment Manager on all accounts in the North Region
To foster relationships with existing and potential clients and introducers
To maintain a very high level of client care and service with both clients and introducers
To be responsible for the maintenance of existing relationships with introducers of business to the Division and to assist in the development of new relationships to help meet the overall financial plan
To notify and agree courses of action with the CIO for areas of difficulty and client complaint
To monitor clients’ portfolios on a regular basis and carrying out transactions as necessary to maintain portfolios suitable to clients’ investment objectives and risk profile
To ensure that client instructions are carried out in a timely manner
To ensue that valuations are produced and dispatched to clients within regulatory timescales
To ensure that all communication received from clients is actioned promptly and efficiently
To keep up-to-date with market investment information and maintaining a working knowledge of all professional developments ensuring that this is acted upon in the company’s and the clients’ interests
To be involved in Marketing and PR activities as appropriate

Person Specification

Relevant examinations as deemed competent by FSA
RDR Qualified
FSA Approved Person status
Excellent inter-personal and communications skills
Experience of direct client contact and discretionary management of clients’ portfolios
Up to date knowledge of markets, investments and funds
