Your new duties and responsibilities
Allianz is ready to set up different investment vehicles in Luxembourg for Real Estate, Private Equity Funds, and Infrastructure investments with a target investment volume exceeding 10bn EUR. To administrate and manage these vehicles Allianz will found a team of investment professionals, providing investment management, accounting and controlling services. This management entity will be integrated in a global network of investment activities in Alternative Assets of Allianz, in Munich, Milano, Paris, London, New York and Singapore.
- In depth analysis of investment proposals and recommendation for CEO, Luxembourg investment vehicles (LuxCos) IC and other Allianz Investment Committee Members
- Develop controlling tools to ensure efficient performance monitoring
- Monitor valuation and performance of assets
- Screen market developments and opportunities for professional discussion with asset managers
- Contribute to the development of investment strategies under consideration of risk-return-characteristics of asset class segments and needs / restrictions of sponsors
- Support investors with regard to steering, planning etc. of Real Estate investments
- Approve payments of LuxCos and portfolio entities
- Approve cash flow of LuxCos and portfolio entities
- Provide transaction support
Required qualifications and experience
- University Degree in business administration, economics or mathematics
- Strong academic background with focus on finance / investments / valuation
- Preferably PhD in finance, controlling or Real Estate or CFA / MBA
- Affinity for investments, esp. Real Assets
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong team player
- Fluency in German, English and French
