Sales, Distribution and Business Development plays a vital role in meeting customer needs by offering the right products through the right channels to the right customer segments, thereby maximising value and business revenue. Responsible for achieving sales and revenue targets and implementing distribution strategy, the team drives the delivery of market leading retail customer experiences.
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Investment Manager in our Haymarket Branch.
Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and managing a diverse client base, generating revenue in Structured Product Investments, Dual Currency Investments, Bonds and FX under a no advice / limited advice sales framework
- Ensuring that sales and operations are undertaken in accordance with HSBC's guidelines, policies and procedures or regulation legislation as applicable.
- Providing general advice to customers face to face or via the telephone using your deep technical understanding of wealth products and client relationship skills.
- Identifying opportunities in day to day activities that directly or indirectly contribute to the success of colleague with differing responsibilities in other areas of HSBC.
- Maintain highest standard of excellence in client services and ensuring customer complaints are handled according to Bank Policies.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (RG146)
- Previous Relationship Management experience within Financial Services.
- Sound knowledge of Structure Investments, Dual Currency Investments, Foreign exchange and related products.
- A full understanding of the needs of the client base
- To be a proactive, ambitious self-starter, with a passion for making a difference.
- Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are required
