Investment Manager – Infrastructure

Our established and highly successful infrastructure team is currently seeking to appoint an Investment Manager with a particular emphasis on the Airports sector. The role will provide an exceptional opportunity for the successful candidate to leverage their Aviation sector investment knowledge and skills, and broaden their experience in a company that is active across the global infrastructure sector.
Based within our Sydney office the successful candidate will;
- Play a leading role in the origination of new investments within the Airports sector.
- Perform in-depth research and have a broad understanding of the risks and returns of potential investments and divestments.
- Prepare and present investment papers to both internal and external investment committees.
- Have a hands-on role in asset management for each investment post-completion - including developing an investment strategy for each asset, and providing regular reporting of operational and financial performance.
- Liaise with Senior Managers of investment companies to understand and influence asset level strategies.
Candidates should be degree qualified and have a minimum of five years' relevant Aviation sector experience in an operational role. Ideally they will also have experience in investment management from another Funds Management business, Private Equity firm, Investment Bank or Advisory firm. Candidates will also ideally be experienced in asset management techniques relating to airports including aviation and non-aviation related revenues. Applicants with strategic car parks experience would be welcomed. You will be a critical thinker and have very strong financial modelling and analysis skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are a must as well as the ability to confidently interact with senior management, investors and peers.
