Investment Manager – Infrastructure Directs & Co-Investments recruitment

The Investment Manager will focus on direct infrastructure investments and co-investments with a global mandate, but a focus on OECD countries.

Role:

•               To lead due diligence on and negotiation of infrastructure investments globally, alongside like-minded leading investment managers, institutional investors and strategic partners.

•               Responsible for the monitoring of investments to include board positions if required.

•               Responsible for deal sourcing.

•               Manage the transaction process with key service providers to include legal, commercial financial due diligence and tax advisers.

•               Produce Investment Memorandum and make investment recommendations to Alternatives Investment Committee.

•               Assist in due diligence of private equity co-investments when required.

•               Assist in the monitoring of existing infrastructure investments, including potential board seats.

Candidate

•               Experience of infrastructure as a principal investor from deal origination to execution and post-investment monitoring either within the MA function of a corporate investor, infrastructure fund or similar.

•               Extensive knowledge of the infrastructure sector and participants in infrastructure MA.

•               Experience of asset management and participation in the governance of portfolio companies, as a board member or assisting boards.

•               Excellent financial modelling skills and understanding of company valuation techniques.

•               First degree in finance related subject from a top-tier university.

•               A post graduate qualification, either accounting, CFA or an MBA is preferred.
