Investment Manager Private Infrastructure
(focus on renewable energy)
In this position, you will have the opportunity to play an important role in building Partners Group's private infrastructure business into a globally leading practice. Your tasks will include:
- Take the lead in the further development of the firm’s renewable energy initiative and the marketing of the renewable energy product offering
- Build and maintain a global network of industry contacts to pro-actively source direct investment opportunities with a focus on renewable energy
- Lead the due diligence, negotiation and execution process on transactions
- Take responsibility for the continued management of current investments, e.g. through participating in board of directors meetings
- Perform various management related tasks with regards to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, and internal requests
For this challenging position, we are looking for a person who works well in a very entrepre-neurial organization, someone who is a self-starter and possesses strong networking and organization skills. The successful candidate should have the following profile:
- Top academic credentials (Master/MBA), with a coursework emphasis on Business Strategy, Accounting, Finance and/or Mathematics or Engineering
- At least 5 - 8 years of work experience in the private infrastructure market with a leading player and significant exposure to the renewable energy sector
- Long-term successful and proven track record of executing investments and realizations of renewable energy assets
- Existing network in the private infrastructure and renewable energy community, incl. e.g. banks, intermediaries, and developers
- Experience in independently presenting to external audiences
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to learn and succeed
